Bondi Junction Village Markets

As someone who works in Bondi, I can assure you the atmosphere here over Summer only grows more and more electric (and maybe a little bit crazier, the closer we get to Christmas!)

I have just discovered some gorgeous markets which are operating over Summer however and just had to share it with you. Beware, I would not recommend trying to find parking anywhere in the Junction!

Bondi Junction Markets are nestled under cover at the western end of the Oxford Street Mall just a hop, skip and jump from the Bondi Junction train and bus interchange. The Bondi Junction Village Markets offer commuters, workers, local residents and tourists a bevy of fresh produce, gourmet goodies and artisan crafts each Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Wednesday at the Bondi Junction Village Markets is 'Deal Day,' offering customers great discounts, deals and freebies!

On Thursdays the focus is on produce straight from the farm, like fresh fruit and veggies straight from Kemps Creek and Adelong (near Batlow), grass fed & free range meat from Port Macquarie, free range eggs & raw honey from Portland (near Lithgow), artisan bread, dried fruit and nuts, organic dairy, natural health products and speciality products like Irish Soda Bread, Ethiopian, Lebanese, Syrian, Mexican, Turkish and Indonesian food.

On Fridays the food focus is shared with our artisans who make their own products, such as leather baby shoes, French art deco products, wooden products, canvas bags, hand knitted cotton garments, one-of-a-kind jewellery, artwork, designer clothing, vintage fashion and fair trade items from Central America such as scarves, clothing and jewellery.
