This is what we got from it. Big thanks to Sandra Lepri – the MUA, who got
this fantastic wig! It really makes so much difference.
I would really encourage models who have a lot of ‘sameness’ in their
ports to try this. A wig can make a huge difference, different colour drastically
different length, and shows you can do a range of looks.
Remember a model has to be versatile, and if a part comes up – models with
a huge range of styles / looks are much more likely to get the part. Many times
I have gone through models to choose from, and your portfolio is what makes the
decision as to whether you get the job or not! This is like your photographic
resume – you can get turned away if your pictures are “too girly” or “too
tomboyish” however, if we* think you can pull it off, you’ll get the job.
