There has been a new trend in blogging that has come up more and more
lately : Vlogging Hauls.

Vlogging is video blogging, posting youtube videos, tutorials and the
like.

‘Haul’ videos are short clips (or long ones) about purchases that people
have made. This could be things from particular stores or a multitude of stores where buyers go
through their purchases and give you their opinions on them.

This is popular for a number of reasons mostly because you are getting
honest opinions from buyers and from the same target consumers as the stores
are after.

This has been noted by stores, several vloggers have had sponsorships, product deals and magazine spreads as many videos are
being viewed by hundreds of thousands of people. The perfect combo for Gen y –
technology and shopping!

There are even blogs dedicated to
haul videos, posting ones from different stores, different trends and topics.
